Utica Plaza Parking Garage Renovation 

Brook Towne completed a comprehensive renovation of the parking structure at Utica Plaza to restore durability, enhance structural performance, and extend the service life of the facility. Working closely with the project's structural engineer, our team executed a targeted repair and rehabilitation program addressing both structural and waterproofing components.

The scope of work included the removal of existing deteriorated deck coatings to allow for a thorough assessment and repair of the concrete substrate. Structural strengthening measures were implemented through the installation of V2 carbon fiber biscuits in designated areas identified by the engineer. Existing bearing pads were replaced to restore proper load transfer and structural movement capabilities within the garage.

In addition to the structural repairs, sidewalks throughout the project area were prepared and recoated to improve protection and appearance. Necessary sealants and expansion joint sealants were also removed and replaced to maintain water tightness and prevent moisture intrusion into the structure.

Through close coordination with the structural engineer and careful execution of each phase of work, the renovation successfully improved the long-term performance, safety, and durability of the Utica Plaza parking garage.
